Be sure to have fireworks even on your nails as you welcome 2012 on the New Years Eve. Before you start you should gather the following materials – red and clear nail polish, fuchsia-glitter, green-glitter and green-glitter nail art liner, spot-swirl or toothpick and glitter powder in gold and silver color.
Always start with the thumb as it the biggest. First step is to paint your nail with red nail polish by beginning at the rear side of the finger-nail then pull the brush forward across the edge of the finger nail. Make it evenly and avoid irregularities. Let it dry before proceeding to step two.
Step two begins in drawing with the nail art liner in fuchsia-glitter color three short lines at the edge of the upper fingernail. Same thing follows with the green glitter nail art liner, position the three short lines beside the fuchsia-glitter lines then add another 2 short lines using the blue-glitter nail art liner. Let it dry then, repeat these steps to create another firework at the center of the nail. Leave it to dry.
Paint a coat of clear nail polish in between the two firework then apply the glitter powder gold by using the spot-swirl of toothpick and strewing it on the damp clear nail polish. Repeat this with the silver glitter powder but this time position it below the second firework you created. After everything have dried up, apply clear coating to the entire nail for more glossy effect and long-lasting nail art.
